About Ian
Ian Marion was born in 1983, grew up in Dorset, Vermont with his five siblings. He attended Burr and Burton Academy ('01) and then attended the Rhode Island School of Design, graduating with a BFA in illustration ('05). Since then he has been living in Boston, Mass in a studio apartment painting full-time, developing his first independent series of work as an artist.

Beginning in September (07') Ian will be furthering his studies at the New York Academy of Art (nyaa.edu) in Manhattan for their two year MFA Painting program.
